28 Apr

A commemorative service will be held on Sunday 28th April 2024 at 10.00 am in the Gallipoli Chapel, Holy Trinity Church, Eltham, SE9 2SD

The 29th Division fought in the ill-fated Gallipoli campaign, suffering 34,000 casualties. Soldiers of the division were awarded 12 VCs.

The Gallipoli Association is committed to keeping the memory of the campaign alive and commemorates the part played by this division each year. We are delighted to be holding the service in Holy Trinity Church which has a memorial to the 29th Division.

This commemoration is part of the Eucharist Service, including communion.

The service is open to all without prior booking.
