01 Nov

'Fighting Fictions' will be an evaluation of the treatment of the Great War in modern fiction. Focusing particularly on the work of Sebastian Faulks and Pat Barker, but also covering a wider range of recent novels, this talk considers whether contemporary novelists can enlarge our understanding of the Great War.
