'The Great War contribution of Dulmial Village, Pakistan' by Dr Irfan Malik

This illustrated talk tells the story of the 460 soldiers, including Dr Malik's grandfather, from Dulmial Village who fought in the Great War and their subsequent reward of a 200-year-old British cannon. The talk also explores the wider role of the Muslim soldiers in the Great War. Dr Malik will also bring a travelling Great War museum with for branch members to view.
