Alan, retired from Shell Oil in 2011, and completed the MA First World War Studies at Birmingham University in 2013.
Drawing on his researches for his MA, Alan will explain how the British exploited Propaganda to their advantage.
This rapid-fire presentation will examine the development of British propaganda in the Great War, with a particular focus on visual images.

This is required to fulfill the Club's Licensing Regulations and is regardless of whether or not you will use the bar. The annual one-off cost is covered by the branch out of your donation.
