The Whippet Tank at the Battle of Amiens by Rob Langham

The Battle of Amiens is described as a great example of 'all arms' warfare however little has been published about the role of the whippet tank in this battle.  Rob Langham addresses this subject in his new talk.  Introduced in March 1918, the Medium Mark A 'Whippet' tank was unlike any other British tank used in action in the Great War.  This talk covers the conception, design, production and operational service of this unusual and fascinating tank design.
