A presentation on Nurse Edith Cavell by Paul Handford.

The talk using rare items and photographs from Paul’s own private collection, looks at her early life and her time in Bruxelles before and during the German occupation. Did the British Authorities do enough to prevent her execution? Was she involved in more than merely assisting allied troops to safety across the border?
