The fascinating story of Norman Woodcock by his granddaughter Susan Burnett.
Norman Woodcock joined the Territorial Army aged 17 in January 1914 and was immediately called up on the outbreak of war.
He served on almost every front in the war with the exception of the African campaigns as a signaller
Beginning with the ill fated Gallipoli campaign and ending on the Western Front via Salonika and Jerusalem.
Both members of the WFA and non members are equally welcome. We ask a modest £4 donation on the door which will include a free raffle ticket.
There is a small bar, teas and coffees are also available.
