'Horsemen In No-Man's Land - British Cavalry on The Western Front' with Dr. David Kenyon
17 Feb

David Kenyon is a British archaeologist and military historian who is known for his work on presenting and interpreting World War I history in the media.

He is the Research Historian at Bletchley Park & an Associate Lecturer in History at Brunel University and an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of History at the University of Kent.

This talk is a summary of the research behind his book, “Horsemen in No Man's Land: British Cavalry and Trench Warfare”, arguing that the British Cavalry was actually a modern and effective fighting force.

Members of the Western Front Association and non-members are equally welcome to attend. We ask for a modest £3 donation on the door to assist in covering room charges and speaker expenses. The Club's licensed bar is available for use by all attending our meetings.

Any new visitors will be assured of a welcoming and friendly atmosphere among a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
