Welcome to the Staffs (North) & Cheshire (South) branch of The Western Front Association.

We meet at The Meeting Rooms, 3 Merrial St, Newcastle under Lyme ST5 2AD on the second Monday of each month at 6.30pm for 7.00pm until 9pm.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

In the light of the latest Government advice and also from the WFA nationally the Branch Management Team have decided to postpone the APRIL and MAY meetings of the Branch. We will review the situation in the middle of May.

We would appreciate it if you could advise any friends or acquaintances that are not members of the WFA or do not use email.

If you get lonely and withdrawn without your monthly WFA fix I am willing to TRY and start an electronic discussion and question and answer blog although you may do better to click on the WFA web site that is full of interesting articles, book reviews and podcasts. My recommendation is to peruse GUNFIRE a now defunct magazine mostly written by the late Alf Peacock that is full of fascinating tidbits that you will not find elsewhere. I will also send out links to YouTube lectures and talks on WW1.

Take care of yourselves and keep in contact.

Best wishes,

John.
