
Dave's talk is a look in detail at "Sniping in the Great War” - focussing predominantly on the German and British perspectives but also looking briefly at other nations too. Dave will be bringing along some period exhibits.
Dave is a retired civil servant (ex Department of Transport) He is a member of the WFA and a regular visitor to the Wolverhampton branch. Dave is one of the longest serving guides/curators at the Great War Interpretation Hut at the Marquis Drive Visitor Centre on Cannock Chase. He has been delivering a number of talks on various aspects of the Great War, including the Cannock Chase Great War training camps, since 2012. These talks have been delivered to a number of WFA branches and various historical groups and societies across the West and East Midlands.
