Royal Garrison Artillery 1899-1923: Part 2. Educating the Artillery Officers and Mountain Artillery

 The lecture describes how artillery officers were educated and one of the RGA’s roles, providing Mountain Artillery to support the British and Indian Armies. The content includes - how Royal Artillery officers were selected and educated; Mountain Artillery: the components: the gun, the transport, (mules and camels), the gunners (officers and men); Mountain Artillery at War. the North West Frontier and the Western Front.

Doors open at 13.40 for a 14.00 start. All members and guests are welcome to come along.We do ask for £3.00 on the door to cover room hire etc.
