Phil Tomaselli will talk to us about 'The war service of Charles Herbert Lightoller, RNVR' - a naval officer with an interesting history both pre-war and during the war. Phil has spoken to the branch on many occasions and we can be sure of an informative and entertaining presentation.
As ever, all members and guests are most welcome to attend. Doors open c13.40 for a 14.00 start. We do ask for a £4.00 donation on the door to cover room hire etc.
Our May meeting is the last of this season. Branch meetings resume in September. Our programme for September 2024-May 2025 will be added to the WFA website during the summer. We would like to thank all speakers who have populated our programme this year and all members who attended meetings. It has been reassuring to reach and even pass the numbers we had pre-pandemic.
