This years event will be held at the Best Western Hotel " Shap Wells " in the Lake District. The hotel is 10 mins off junction 39 of the M6 or on the A6 out of Kendal. The cost of the event is £19-50 pp and includes christmas lunch. The meal will be served carvery style and has choices for all courses as well as a vegetarian option, so you just choose what you like. All enquiries should you wish to attend, to the branch chairman Martin Simpson.
The subject of Peter's talk is not available just yet but I am sure it will be both interesting and possibly controversial.

Description
The hotel is on the A6 between Shap and Kendal, not far from junction 39 of the M6. For those of you travelling by rail, the nearest main line station is Oxenholme near Kendal.
