Boyle Memorial Restored

boyle-memorial-restoredDavid Easton, Branch Co-ordinator, has sent me some photographs. His comment - with which I wholeheartedly agree - is that this is a great example of how Souvenir Français (he proudly told me his Branch - Northumberland - is a member) hasn't forgotten.....

Apparently the memorial was looking a bit scruffy - but just look at it now.

Capt the Hon James Boyle was the son of David, 7th Earl of Glasgow, and Dora, Countess of Glasgow; husband of Katherine Isabel Salvin Boyle (later Lady Trenchard, of Dancers Hill House, Barnet, Herts).

His name is on the Le Touret Memorial.
