Kaiserschütze Josef Meinrad Wachter, K Sch Rgt Nr 2.
Born at Gaschurn, Austria on 18 November 1885, Josef was a factory worker at Montafon, Tyrol at the time of his August 1914 enlistment. Wounded in action on the Eastern Front, he died of wounds in a military hospital at Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria on 14 April 1915, where he is still buried today.
