334 Maréchal des Logis Henri Victor Gobin, 25e Régiment d'Artillerie de Campagne.
Born in Paris on 9 December 1891, Henri was living in the Loire department when he was called to his compulsory military service in 1912. Still serving at the time of the outbreak of war, he first saw action at Xivry on 24 August 1914 before taking up a role in various actions during the Battle of the Marne. After moving south, Henri was wounded in action during the Battle of the Woevre and the Meuse Heights on 23 September 1914 and he died in a dressing station at Mouilly later that same day. Henri's grave location is unknown.
