Sgt Roy Frank Allison, Co K, 34th Infantry.
A regular soldier pre-war, Frank was born at Ogden, Henry County on 23 November 1899. He enlisted into the army on 11 December 1915 and served for some time on the Mexican border. He was sent to join the AEF in France in August 1918 and saw his first frontline action in the Puvenelle Sector, Lorraine. Sadly, he was killed in action a matter of weeks after arrival on 22 October 1918. Roy's body was repatriated post-war.
