Unterjäger Josef Rudolf Rein, Standschützenbaon Dornbirn.
Born at Dornbirn, Austria on 18 October 1886, Joseph was a factory worker living at Lustenauerstrasse 13 in the town at the time of the outbreak of war. After being called into service in 1915, he spent much of his war on the Austro-Italian border. Joseph was taken prisoner during the allied advances of 1918. He died of disease whilst still in (open) captivity at Valona, Italy on 21 September 1919. Josef's burial location is unrecorded.
