Ken Linge talks about the work he and his wife Pam have done on researching the stories of the ‘missing’ on the Thiepval Memorial on the Somme. It is located near the French village of Thiepval and is a war memorial to 72,337 missing British and South African servicemen who died in the Battles of the Somme of between 1915 and 1918, with no known grave. Here they talk to Tom Thorpe about their work:

The project that Ken and Pam Linge run aims to collect biographical information each of the ‘missing’ so they are 'missing but not forgotten'.

In 2015, they compiled a number of these stories into 'Missing But Not Forgotten' which was published by Pen & Sword (available here https://amzn.to/3t985I1).
