"Clearing the dead 1919-1939" by Peter Hodgkinson

There is currently considerable interest in battlefield archaeology. Between the wars, however, a process similar to modern archaeology was carried out to attempt to unearth the missing and bury them properly in IWGC cemeteries. How was this done? Who did it? What were their experiences? 
Peter is a Clinical Psychologist, with an MA (2006) in First World War Studies at Birmingham University, and a PhD (2013) in Infantry Battalion Commanders.
Peter was booked to give this presentation two years ago at our Branch, but was thwarted by Covid.
