'Who Was Franz Ferdinand?' with Sue Woolhams
19 Nov

The assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg on the 28th June 1914 is widely seen as the catalyst for the start of the First World War, yet the couple themselves remain relatively obscure figures in the West. In their recent book, 'The Assassination of The Archduke: Sarajevo 1914 and the Murder That Changed the Word', author's Greg King and Sue Woolmans take a closer look at the central figures of the drama, and in this talk Sue tries to answer the question, 'Who Was Franz Ferdinand?'.
