Are you interested in the Great War 1914-1919?

A look at the events of 1919 and the part played by the men and women of Merseyside.

Opportunities to have your Great War ancestors researched and photographs dates. 

School groups are welcome, but must be booked in. These groups are given a talk on life in the trenches and how the war began.

VENUE: Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre

TIMES: 10:00 to 16:00 daily

The exhibition looks at the events of 1919 and includes information boards on campaigns that were still taking place throughout the world, returning soldiers, changes in society as a result of the war, women, battlefield salvage, recovering and burying war dead, plans for local war memorials, to name but a few subjects covered.
Western Front Association Branch members are there at all times to answer any questions and there is a help desk for research enquiries.
