CANCELLED - Up Close & Personal - Infantry Weapons of Trench Warfare with Taff Gillingham
18 May

Suffolk WFA Branch Chairman Taff Gillingham is a military historian specialising in the life of the British and Commonwealth soldier during the first half of the twentieth century.

Since the 1990s, he has been a military historical advisor on many major film, television and theatre productions, and regularly appears in TV documentaries.

He is co-director of Khaki Devil Limited and The Great War Huts heritage project. Using deactivated and inert weapons, this talk looks at the weapons used by the British and Commonwealth troops, 1914-19.

Members of the Western Front Association and non-members are equally welcome to attend. We ask for a modest £3 donation on the door to assist in covering room charges and speaker expenses. The Club's licensed bar is available for use by all attending our meetings.

Any new visitors will be assured of a welcoming and friendly atmosphere among a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
