German Tanks at Villers Bretonneux, a talk by Chris Johns

This months talk is given by Chris Johns. 

The April 1918 German spring offensive to the east of Amiens saw the first occasion upon which tanks fought against each other, culminating in a duel between a British male Mark IV and a German A7V commanded by a certain Wilhelm Blitz.

Members and Non-members of the Western Front Association are equally welcome to our meetings. Refreshments are available after the talk and before any questions for the speaker.

A book raffle is available at the meeting with the proceeds go towards branch funds.
