This months talk is given by Vern Little.

The story of the final attempt by the Prussian Guard to break through the British lines during the First Battle of Ypres, and how they were stopped by the remains of the famous 'Old Contemptibles', including the gunners of 41st Brigade Royal Field Artillery.

Members and Non-members of the Western Front Association are equally welcome to our meetings. Refreshments are available after the talk and before any questions for the speaker.

A book raffle is available at the meeting with the proceeds going towards branch funds.
