7 January 1918: 42860 Rmn Walter Leeming | The Western Front Association

Walter was born on Huntsworth Farm, near Giggleswick, Skipton in 1897.

A farmer's son and the youngest of five, by the age of 14 at the 1911 Census, Walter was working on the farm with his siblings.

Walter was killed in action whilst on a patrol in the Zonnebeke sector. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial to the missing.
