ONLINE : Amazing Medical Women – The Scottish Women’s Hospital with Dr John Sorrell
16 Oct

To be presented as a Zoom meeting.

Our next talk, moved from September to October, is by Dr John Sorrell.

This will be the third talk he has given us, all on a medical theme. His previous talks were ‘From the Front to Home Hospital’ and ‘The Madonnas of Pervyse’; both very well received.

This month’s talk, ‘Amazing Medical Women’, is about the formation, staffing and running of the Scottish Women’s Hospitals during the First World War, and their exploits on the Eastern Front in Serbia and Rumania.

Further details will be in the next ‘Frontline’ and I will email everyone whether or not we can go ahead. Here’s hoping. Fingers crossed!

MK members will be sent an invite; anyone else interested please contact Stuart Macfarlan at macfarlan87@gmail.com
