This talk with Paul Cobb examines the early life of John Monash, his professional life in the growing colony of Victoria, his often-tempestuous family life and his military career in the Militia and AIF at Gallipoli and on the Western Front. It concludes with a look at his post-war years and how he has been commemorated as one of modern Australia's most significant people.
