Sean Lang is a historian, educationist and playwright, who speaks frequently about history and current affairs on radio and television. He was senior lecturer in History at Anglia Ruskin University for 17 years, teaching modern British, European and imperial history. He also lectures regularly for the University of Cambridge International Summer School. He has published on British India and the First World War and contributed to The Cambridge Companion to Winston Churchill.  He has also written works of popular history, including British History for Dummies and First World War for Dummies.
