A small but stalwart band travelled from around our county to commemorate ANZAC Day at the Dominions Plot in Cambridge City Cemetery at dawn yesterday morning, 25th April. They were unexpectedly joined by Matt, a young Australian from Sydney who is about to start studies at the University. He was warmly welcomed and we listened as he told us that he had been in Europe for two months and had visited many of the battlefields where ANZACs had served. He had desperately searched for somewhere local to commemorate the day, before finding our reports on our Facebook site.

At 05.40, after a welcome and introduction from Emrys our Branch Chair, Stuart Ainsworth, a recent and welcome addition to our committee, read from the Roll of Honour, briefly detailing those ANZACs commemorated in the Cemetery.
