This month she will be talking about one of the pivotal events of the First World War, the First Battle of the Marne, the high water mark of the German offensive in the West, when French Commander-in-Chief Joseph Joffre brought the Schlieffen Plan to a grinding halt, and ended German hopes of a quick victory against France and her allies.
Alexandra Churchill is a well known historian, presenter and writer, having made numerous documentary appearances, and she is a co-host of the popular 'History Hack' podcast.
