Branch Christmas Meeting
18 Dec

Well, there goes another year; hope it's been a good one for you. At the Branch we've been fortunate to have a string of fine speakers throughout the year, such as Mark Connelly, Taff Gillingham and Alexandra Churchill talking on subjects ranging from early battlefield tourism to the Great War as seen on television and it's effect on the fight for votes for women.

We're sticking with the usual format for the Christmas meeting, which is to say that there will be a quiz (provided by the legendary Chris Daughters), a small buffet (which of course includes the obligatory slice of Christmas cake), and a short talk from Chris Hunt on the topic of “One Shell”. Oh, and of course, don't forget the raffle!

We'll also take the opportunity to sneak in the Branch AGM, but don't let that put you off; it will, as Douglas Adams might have put it, be “mostly harmless.”
