The CWGC have recently began releasing digitised versions of their Enquiries, or "E" Files and these records can provide a fascinating insight into the lives of the bereaved. In this talk, Megan will focus on the records relating to the United Kingdom; from changes in commemoration types, to unexpected and exceptional circumstances, examples from these records will be discussed.
