To mark the centenary of the Nicholson War Memorial in Leek, Staffordshire, the Town of Leek will be holding a centenary parade and service of rededication and ceremony of commitment to Remembrance and Peace on Saturday 6th September 2025.
The itinerary is as follows:-
10.30am Please assemble at the Nicholson War Memorial for a musical performance by the Peace Choir.
10.45am. Dignitaries will parade from the Sheep Market to the Nicholson War Memorial.
11am The ceremony of rededication and commitment is scheduled for 11am.
The branch has received an invite for up to four of its members to attend the Churnet Room, Moorlands House, Stockwell Street, Leek ST13 6HQ after the service for light refreshments.
The Branch Chair, Geoff White, and Secretary Andy Stevenson will be attending on behalf of the Branch and committee, with the remaining two places open on a first come, first served basis for two Branch members to attend.
