About the Talk :- The London blitz of 1917

The talk will highlight the advantages/disadvantages of the use by the Germans of Zeppelins. It will explain that the heavier than air aircraft, showed their superiority over the lighter airships. It will also try to explain why during the first Zeppelin raids, the UK had no air defence except the anti aircraft guns which in some cases caused as much damage as the German bombs.

It will also discus the Naval bombardments of both the East and West coast of the country.
