Our December branch meeting will be a social evening with drinks and snacks available. Branch member Malcolm Cole has kindly offered to bring along his collection of WW1 POW postcards to show us and there will be a stand set up in the hall for members to browse and ask questions. As a Christmas special there will be a free book raffle.
Ahead of the meeting we have one piece of formal business to attend to. Alan Leakey has offered to stand as the new branch chair and we need to hold a formal vote on this. If anyone else would like to stand could they please contact Andy Day on 07972 287 315 ASAP. The proposal, seconding and voting should only take a couple of minutes.
This meeting will be held in Cobham. Members of The Western Front Association and non-members are equally welcome. We ask for a modest £3 donation on the door to cover the cost of hiring the hall.
Members joining us at Cobham can use our new cashless card system and use their credit card/phone with the new reader that will be available at the signing in desk.
Doors open at Cobham at 7:15pm and the meeting starts at 7:45pm.
