We welcome to the branch for the first time. 

Professor Maggie Andrews.

She will be speaking about 'sending parcels' to soldiers serving on the fronts of the First World War. The story of the challenges and changes on the home front that would affect everyone Professor Emerita of Cultural History at Worcester University.  

She was historical consultant on BBC Radio’s 4 Home Front series. 

Prof Maggie Andrews is a cultural historian whose work covers the social and cultural history of twentieth century Britain and the representation of that history within popular culture.
