The lecture will cover the Great War experiences of four of the less well known, but extremely worthy, pilots from New Zealand and their considerable contribution to the war effort both on the Western Front and Gallipoli.
Colin Buxton has lectured to our branch many times on the aviators of WW1. He was a Navigator on 208 Sqn Buccaneers at Lossiemouth Jun 1986-Nov 1990. He is Chair of the Northumberland Branch of the WFA.
The meeting will take place at our usual venue, The Allotment Social Club, West Allotments, and will commence at 7.45 pm for an 8.00 pm start.
Please note: Entrance to the meeting is by donation of £5, there will be a raffle, and we no longer provide a buffet.
