Monday 20th February 2023 WW2 RAF Commanders in WW1-Colin Buxton
Our speaker, Colin Buxton, is our “go to” specialist on aspects of the RFC and RAF in WW1.
This talk will cover the WW1 experience of yet more of the leading players in the RAF in WW2, on the roots of a number of key RAF “Top Brass”, which will give an insight into the foundations of their later careers and achievements. This talk extends the coverage of Colin's initial talk on other RAF comanders but as each talk is a “stand alone” event, this year’s talk will be in complete in its own right.The meeting will take place at our usual venue, the Allotment Social Club, West Allotments and will commence at 7.45 for an 8pm start.
There will be a raffle as usual and entrance to the meeting is by donation of £4.
