Lily Maud Leaver was born in June 1896 Aberdare, Glamorganshire
Her parents were Edward (a Hewer from Somerset who died in 1904) and Annie Leaver.
On 31 March 1901 Lily was 5 and lived with her parents at 30 Commerce Street, Aberdare, Wales with her parents and eight of her ten siblings.
During the First World War Lily was a munitions worker and lived at 119 High Street, Abertridwr, Wales. It would appear that her brothers, miners before the war, remained in the mines.
Lily died of TNT poisoning 28 December 1917.
