The Winning and Losing of the Great War at Sea and the Feeding of Nations

In a change to our programme, our September meeting will see Tom Scotland giving a talk about the naval blockade of Germany and its effects upon the population.  It was also examine how differences in how the food situation was managed led to Britain being able to see out the war, despite shipping loses to submarines, while Germany's people slowly starved.
