The Surrey Branch has some very sad news to report: our branch chairman, Andy Thompson, died suddenly and unexpectedly while taking part in an organised walk along the Thames on Saturday 8th May.
The pictures below show Andy doing what he loved - explaining the Great War, at the places where it happened, during one of the many tours of the battlefields that he organised for the WFA Surrey Branch. We will miss his friendship, his knowledge, his enthusiasm and his company. May he Rest In Peace.
