The First Air War with Grant Cullen
13 Apr

This talk originated with a number of black and white photos found at a yard sale in Hazlewood, Missouri, in the 1990s. This talk covers a rather neglected topic and discusses the main protagonists of WW1 – aeroplanes and people. The talk uses extensive illustrations and includes one short animation and one brief example of the workings of the rotary aircraft engine, the other on how the Lewis gun operated.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
