The son of Jata of Deolali, Nashik, Bombay, India, Dasarat arrived in the UK in October/November 1914. After seeing service in France in 1915, he died of illness in Brighton hospital on 8th September 1915. Dasarat was cremated at the Chattri, Patcham Down, Sussex.
