This talk will cover the financing and construction of this liner, progressing to her use in the First World War as a high speed courier vessel bringing warlike stores to the UK from the USA, ending with her last voyage including some of these carried on her who were engaged in war work and whether or not passengers on that fateful last voyage were being used as human shields.
