On Wednesday February 12th we welcome to return of Peter Hart to our Hornchurch Venue.
In this talk, based on a recent book by him and Gary Bain, Peter will address the two sides of air warfare: the relative safety and comfort of the airbase and the stresses and dangers of flying patrols and air warfare within minutes of leaving base, and how those involved dealt with these extremes in their lives.
We meet from 7:30pm in the Poppy Lounge, upstairs at the Royal British Legion at Hornchurch. We request an entrance donation of £3.50 and we have access to the RBL bar.
There is parking nearby, in Fentiman Way, which is 24-hour pay and display. No cash is taken and there is a machine that accepts card payments right by the entrance.
As with all of our talks we welcome all comers, not just members of the Western Front Association.
