A talk by William Franklin on Field Marshal Julian Byng.

William Franklin's talk is entitled ‘Remembering ‘Bungo’.  An assessment of his role as a corps and army commander and an appreciation of his character. 

William has had a fascination with military leadership in both World Wars, particularly Byng and Wavel, who both subsequently served in colonial viceregal roles and were given peerages.
