This talk examines an awful, shocking part of the Great War and that is the atrocities committed in Belgium in August 1914.  It looks at the questions of who was responsible, why did they happen and what propaganda was made of them.  Rob will assess how history and accepted truths about what took place have changed over the last 100 years.
