Dr John Scanlon  - The British Army in Italy 

 

 John will look at the reasons why the British Army ended up in Northern Italy in 1917 and the conduct of there campaign one they had arrived. This is perhaps one of the little known campaigns that the British Army took part in, in extremely trying conditions due to distance and terrain. 

 WFA members and non members alike are equally welcome to listen to this fascinating talk.
