Author, historian & branch chairman Darryl Porrino gave a very interesting talk about the 11th Service Battalion East Lancashire Regiment, the Accrington Pals. He used their recollections & letters to tell the story from their perspective. Their was also rare film footage of the Pals. The talk was well received by the many attendees.
